NEVAT organises national and international network, trade and knowledge-based activities, where members can establish contact with new clients, both national and international. It is up to the members themselves to transform contacts arranged by NEVAT into orders. NEVAT also promotes contact between its members, which can lead to joint cooperative ventures.
Since 2012, NEVAT has been concentrating in particular on the medical market, and the agriculture and food market.
In June 2011, it was already involved in the organisation of a workshop to bring together local authorities, provinces, research and educational institutions, banks, investors, breeders, equipment builders and suppliers. This has since led to the establishment of two new companies: PulseForm and Flora Fluids.
